Daily Need Services With Toll Free Number Introduced by Dhupguri Municipality Yesterday

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri, 6^th May, 2017: Just one phone call and you will get your service. Now for the common citizens the service i.e. Citizen Livelihood Centre (CLC) has been started by Dhupguri Municipality. The citizens of Dhupguri can now get the services like domestic help, mason, carpenter, interior decorator/artist, gift packers for marriage etc. A resident of Dhupguri Municipality can call CLC and get the service through a toll-free number. Yesterday the service was inaugurated in the afternoon.

Before the inauguration, there was a rally organized by Dhupguri Municipality. In this occasion, the dignitaries present were the Chairman of Dhupguri Municipality Mr. Sailen Chandra Roy and other officers of the Municipality. The CLC project is under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihoods Mission i.e DAY – NULM Scheme of the Government India.

The project officer of CLC Mr. Bhaskar Goon told TNI that this service is created for the citizens of Dhupguri. Many a time the citizens find it difficult to get those daily need services but are unable to get those. The wages for the same is based on the standard rate applicable in the market. He also said that 27 services are included in the CLC project. The registration of service providers is on currently. Mr. Goon also said that within 2 months the CLC service will be in its full swing.
